The town of Cloudcroft is well situated for mountain holidays and ski vacations. Ski Cloudcroft, the local ski hill, is complimented by a variety of accommodations, including hotel rooms, chalets and vacation home rentals. The Lincoln National Forest surrounds Cloudcroft and provides endless opportunities for camping, hiking and a variety of other outdoor activities. Open Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sacramento Mountains Historical Society and Pioneer Village showcases a number of historic buildings from the 1800s and early 1900s, as well as artifacts and memorabilia from Cloudcroft.
